Independent thinking. Accountable work.

Useful software.
Principles that hold.

We are a group of experienced developers building software and services. We care about the work, the people it serves, and the standards behind it.

New tools. The same responsibility to build well.

The architecture standard

The tools change.
The standard stays.

The work

Purpose before tooling.

Software should earn its place. We start with the problem, use the smallest fitting tools, and judge the result by what actually works.

Software & services

Clear scope. Understandable systems. Useful, working results.

AI, where it belongs

We may offer AI solutions and use AI to assist development. The tool must serve the work.

Our standards

Our word is part of the work.

Four commitments.
No fine print.

Developers, not AI salesmen.

We are not AI salesmen. We are a group of experienced developers building software and services.

The fundamentals still apply.

We may include AI offerings and use AI to assist development. The principles of consistent, reliable, and secure architecture have not changed with the advent of AI.

Traditional principles. Real accountability.

Honesty, responsibility, and craftsmanship are our standards for doing business. We advertise them proudly and hold ourselves rigorously accountable to them.

Always free to start a conversation.

Consultations and demos are always totally free. On-site demonstrations are preferred. We are based in San Antonio, TX.

The tenets

What we return to.

A standard for decisions,
not decoration.

Output is king. Judge progress by useful, working results. Removing unnecessary code can be progress too.
Design for modularity and scarcity at the beginning, not the end. Keep the design simple, clear, and frugal from the outset.
Time spent thinking about problems is not real productive time. Often in doing simple things you find the answers to bigger issues.
Actions are the route through the mazes of meaningless noise.
Inherit an ethos of unending desire for truth.
Follow your heart. God guides you.
You are often wrong. Accept that you may not be seeing things correctly.

Meet us

Let the work speak for itself.

Tell us what needs to work. We prefer to demonstrate in person, on-site, where the problem and the people doing the work are in the same room.
